Ethos of the videos

 

Our videos are based off ideas that have inspired our articles. The vision for the videos is to investigate through focus groups and interviews with field experts and the general public, to decipher whether the ideas hold up and reveal wider political, cultural, and social trends that are so intrinsic to how our lives operate.

The videos will be available on the website as well as our various social media platforms. The power of social media is the immense accessibility but we want to move away from sensationalist, under scrutinised and reactionary news on social media that does not allow for time to digress and see the wider picture.

Our mission is to demonstrate how political investigations on social media undertaken by our wonderful team of young adults can be innovative, critically analysed and examined within the broader trends that shape our lives whilst appealing to a wider audience that academia, broadsheet news and politics has failed to reach.
